Job summary

Priority Power seeks a Director of Development for Renewables & Storage to lead utility-scale solar, wind and storage projects for large industrial and commercial clients. The role requires setting strategic direction and managing a team of development managers and analysts across a multi-stakeholder environment.

You will build relationships with landowners, utilities, and lenders, ensuring projects progress on time and within budget while navigating complex regulatory environments.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 15 years in utility-scale renewable energy and/or energy storage development with 8+ years in a senior leadership role.
• Bachelor of Science in Engineering; electrical/mechanical/renewables expertise preferred.
• PE license preferred or ability to obtain.
• Proven track record in developing/closing utility-scale solar, wind, and storage projects across full lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of utility-scale solar, wind, and storage projects; manage a cross-functional team.
• Maintain a robust pipeline by cultivating relationships with landowners, utilities, and partners.
• Develop and manage project schedules and budgets; lead stakeholder meetings.
