Lumen Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Senior Manager of Release Train Engineering to lead a team of RTEs and Sr. RTEs in a remote, U.S.-based role.

The role focuses on ensuring Agile Release Train execution with clear accountability, coaching, and continuous improvement across ARTs. You will drive standards, governance, and transparency while partnering with Product, Engineering, and TPMO leadership to align delivery with strategic priorities.

Qualifications

10+ years of experience in Agile delivery, release-train leadership, SDLC operations, project management, platform delivery, or enterprise technology delivery.
3+ years of people-leadership experience managing RTEs, Sr. RTEs, Scrum Masters, or comparable roles.
Experience establishing ART standards, governance routines, dashboards, planning calendars, escalation models, dependency-management practices.

Responsibilities

Lead and coach RTEs and Sr. RTEs; set priorities and accountability.
Define and maintain ART standards, playbooks, dashboards, and governance routines.
Align ART execution with portfolio goals, PI planning calendars, and roadmaps.
Manage risks, impediments, dependencies, and executive visibility.
Monitor ART health and delivery metrics to drive improvements.
Champion automation, AI-enabled workflows, and agentic approaches.
Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Architecture, and TPMO leaders.
