Job summary

Verana Health in the United States seeks an experienced Director or Senior Director of Business Development to lead multi-year Real-World Data and Real-World Evidence deals. You will build a high-growth book from the ground up, combining consultative selling with executive presence to win top-tier Life Sciences, pharmaceutical, and CRO opportunities.

Reporting to the Senior Vice President, you will shape data solutions and manage end-to-end deals, collaborating with Product, Data, and Operations

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of professional sales experience targeting Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical, and CRO organizations.
Deep knowledge of the Real-World Data (RWD) and Real-World Evidence (RWE) landscape and its impact on medical research.
Entrepreneurial hunter mentality with resilience to build a large book of business in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Responsibilities

Generate revenue through securing large, multi-year RWE agreements and EHR data solutions.
Lead consultative solutioning, coordinate RFI/RFP responses, and develop high-quality proposals and SOWs.
Build and nurture executive relationships with key decision-makers across assigned accounts.
Collaborate with Product, Data, and Operations teams to ensure alignment from pre-sales through contract close.
Maintain a rigorous sales funnel and provide data-driven forecasts to executives.
