Job summary

WiredScore, in partnership with Meter, is seeking a Head of Business Development in Miami to lead regional growth. You will drive partnerships with real estate owners, brokers, and property managers to install Meter in vacancies and certify buildings with WiredScore’s standards.

You will own the market strategy for the southeastern region, build a robust pipeline from scratch, and collaborate cross-functionally with Customer Success, Engineering, and Marketing to scale adoption.

Qualifications

• Experience in revenue-generating sales or business development roles.
• Knowledge of real estate market and ecosystem.
• Hunter who owns deals from first conversation to close.
• Ability to build structure quickly when playbook is being built.
• Credibility, commercial judgment, and executive presence with senior stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel regularly and ideally live near an international airport.
• Collaborative and self-sufficient; can work with Customer Success, Engineering, and Marketing while driving projects.

Responsibilities

• Map territory: key assets, ownership groups, brokers, property managers, ecosystem influencers.
• Open qualified opportunities across WiredScore and Meter via outbound, referrals, and market relationships.
• Be the face of WiredScore and Meter to the real estate community in the southeastern region.
• Source, qualify, and close opportunities to install Meter in vacancies and certify buildings.
• Generate tenant demand via partnerships with brokerages and collaborate with Meter Sales to close tenant opportunities.
• Provide market feedback to sharpen messaging, positioning, and go-to-market playbook.
