Job summary

Variety Staffing seeks a Director of QA/QC to provide leadership across Supplier Quality, In-Process and Outgoing Quality, ensuring climbing products meet quality, integrity, and regulatory standards. You will develop and evaluate programs spanning raw materials to finished goods, guiding a team of quality supervisors and engineers.

The role requires a Engineering degree, 3–5 years of leadership in manufacturing quality, and ASQ CMQ/QE certification, with Lean Six Sigma Green/Black preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is required.
• 3–5 years of progressive manufacturing quality leadership experience.
• ASQ CMQ/QE certification is required.
• Lean Six Sigma Belt (Green or Black) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate production operations to ensure quality and specification adherence across all lines.
• Develop, implement, and execute inspection methods for products and equipment.
• Identify gaps in quality policies and drive corrective actions via CAR.
• Establish supplier and vendor quality requirements and close corrective action requests.
• Collaborate with management to draft and maintain quality standards across departments.
