Job summary
SECU is seeking a Quality Assurance leader in Information Technology to guide QA and Performance Engineering teams. The role focuses on automation-first quality, risk reduction, and continuous improvement across test management, API testing, and performance testing in a large financial institution environment.
You will lead enterprise-scale testing initiatives, collaborate with business and IT leaders, and drive a culture of quality while managing resources and delivery timelines in a hybrid
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and 7 years of direct experience with at least 1 year of leadership experience.
- Experience with multiple programming languages such as Python or Java.
- Strong experience with test automation tools and frameworks.
- Expert knowledge of testing best practices and methodologies.
- Demonstrated QA experience in large financial institution settings.
- Experience leading performance, load and stress testing for high availability systems.
- Hands-on experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, Gatling, NeoLoad, LoadRunner).
- Understanding of distributed systems, microservices, and APIs.
- Ability to lead teams in fast-paced, multi-priority environments.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Responsibilities
- Direct and oversee QA teams and adherence to Software Testing Lifecycle.
- Oversee test automation frameworks and inspire automation-first quality.
- Lead performance testing practice and establish standards for performance engineering.
- Drive QA tools roadmap including test management, automation, API testing, and lab environments.
- Build and manage a skill development program for test automation.
