Job summary

Zenith Insurance Company seeks a senior leader to guide the property claims department across California. You will drive strategic direction, oversee coverage and liability investigations, and supervise a team of claims professionals to deliver high-quality service.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years of property claims management, strong data analysis, regulatory knowledge, and experience with MS Office, Xactware, and AI tools. Remote CA candidates are welcome.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of training or experience required.
• 5+ years managing Property Claims teams required.
• Exceptional written and verbal communications, organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Directs and monitors coverage, liability, and damage investigations and settlement strategies.
• Provides leadership and technical guidance to claims professionals and monitors industry data and trends.
• Ensures compliance with state/federal laws, company policies and best practices.
• Performs supervisory duties including hiring, coaching, training and performance appraisals.
• Collaborates with defense counsel to expedite resolutions and manage LAE.
• Leads initiatives to improve processes and leverage AI in claims handling.
