Socket is seeking a Head of Product to define our path forward and build the product function to support rapid growth. You will set the product strategy, unite the portfolio into a cohesive platform, and shape how software supply chain security evolves as AI changes how software is built.

You will collaborate closely with Feross and the leadership team, guiding engineering, sales, customer engineering, and threat intelligence to translate customer needs into clear direction and tangible

Qualifications

• Senior product leadership experience; proven track record from strategy through launch and learning.
• Experience building for developers, security teams, or technical users.
• Technical fluency; ability to discuss architecture and trade-offs.
• Strong product judgment to balance requests and set boundaries.
• Understanding of how customer value translates into business results.
• Clear written and verbal communication; able to explain complex problems.
• Hands-on approach to build where there is no playbook; move quickly without losing detail.

• Set product strategy across Socket’s portfolio; align customer needs with priorities.
• Join customer conversations and translate feedback into requirements.
• Partner with Engineering to define clear requirements and success metrics.
• Make prioritization decisions balancing commitments, reliability, and capacity.
• Define customer impact and measure success with data and feedback.
• Collaborate with Sales on positioning, demos, and launches.
• Create and maintain roadmaps; clarify commitments from ideas.
• Grow the product function and team over time.
