Job summary

Precision Power Solutions (PPS), a division of EnerSys, seeks a Product Development Engineering Manager to lead a multidisciplinary team developing electrochemical products for the defense sector. You will set priorities, guide projects, and ensure milestones are met with aligned resources.

You will collaborate with customers, defense partners, and cross-functional teams across PM, Quality, Test, Purchasing, Manufacturing, and Finance to deliver qualified products, customer satisfaction, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field required.
• Minimum of five years of engineering leadership or product development experience required.
• Strong technical knowledge, leadership skills, and sound business judgment.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a multidisciplinary engineering team to deliver technical excellence and meet customer requirements and program schedules.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing and Manufacturing Engineering to improve design for manufacturability and production transitions.
• Develop project plans with cross-functional teams and ensure successful execution of new product development programs.
• Ensure compliance with defense industry standards and internal policies focused on quality and accountability.
• Drive financial and profitability objectives through planning, execution, and resource management.
• Build relationships with customers, government stakeholders, industry partners, and suppliers.
