Qualifications

• 10+ years in Product or UX Design, Human Factors, or similar fields.
• Proven success in developing and launching complex technical products.
• Strong technical fluency for collaboration with engineering leads.
• Experience in user research that informs product strategy.
• Ability to influence product direction in a non-authoritative role.
• In-depth understanding of AI-enhanced product experiences.
• Demonstrated ability to build and lead high-performing design teams.

For our client, we are seeking a Head of Product Design (R5776) to join the team of a leader in the Enterprise Technology space.

This role will shape the design vision for complex technical products that support autonomy development and operations. You will partner closely with Product Managers and engineering leadership to turn sophisticated architectures into intuitive experiences for highly technical users. The position also calls for building strong design standards, elevating user research, and advancing AI-assisted workflows across the organization.

Location: San Mateo, CA - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $280,000 – $420,000 annually
