Job summary

Instrumentl is hiring a Head of Product to lead its product managers and guide the company toward an AI-native operating system for grant-funded organizations. You will own a core product area while growing the PM team and collaborating with founders to execute a company-wide product roadmap.

This hands-on leadership role requires a track record of shipping in B2B SaaS, building teams, and driving customer-focused outcomes.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in product management with end-to-end ownership in B2B SaaS.
• Track record of taking a product from 0 to 1 and scaling it with measurable results.
• Hands-on: prototyping, writing specs, and shipping products.
• Experience managing and developing PMs, including hiring and performance management.
• Experience setting strategy across multiple product areas and making investment tradeoffs.

Responsibilities

• Be the strongest customer voice in the company and develop PMs into customer advocates.
• Own customer outcomes and account engagement across product areas.
• Lead the launch and adoption of new products and iterate post-launch.
• Engage closely with customers via calls, site visits, and conferences and turn insights into decisions.
• Scope work end-to-end by shipping minimal viable products and iterating.
• Own a core product area (GrantOS platform) from roadmap to shipped work.
• Prototype and build with engineering and design, using AI tools for rapid progress.
• Lead PMs with clear decision-making and shipping principles.
• Increase product velocity while maintaining high quality, teaching the team AI-native workflows.
• Partner with founders to translate product vision into an executable roadmap.
• Collaborate with engineering, design, sales, and customer success on cross-team initiatives.
