Job summary

Instrumentl is seeking a Head of Product in the San Francisco Bay Area to lead our product managers as we scale an AI-native operating system for grant-funded organizations. You will own a core product area, drive a strong customer focus, and collaborate across engineering, design, sales, and customer success to deliver a cohesive platform.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in product management owning end‑to‑end B2B SaaS products.
• Proven track record of taking a product from 0 to 1 and scaling it with measurable outcomes.
• Hands-on contributor: prototype, write specs, and ship products.
• Experience hiring, coaching, and performance managing PMs.
• Strategic mindset across multiple product areas with investment tradeoffs.

Responsibilities

• Be the strongest voice of the customer outside our founders.
• Own customer outcomes and engagement across product areas.
• Lead new products from 0 to launch and drive adoption and improvement.
• Engage with customers via calls, site visits, and conferences; translate learnings into product decisions.
• Scope and sequence work to ship end-to-end minimal viable versions.
• Own a core product area (GrantOS) from roadmap to shipped work.
• Prototype and build with engineering and design, leveraging AI to move ideas to production.
• Lead and develop PMs with clear decision principles and accountable delivery.
• Partner with founders to turn product vision into an executable roadmap.
