Job summary

Elevate Jet is seeking a Director of Operations in Plano, TX to lead fleet operations under FAR Part 135/91, oversee safety and regulatory compliance, and coordinate with maintenance, flight crews, and client services. You will act as FAA liaison and drive continuous improvement across operations.

The role requires piloting credentials, senior leadership experience, and a strong background in aviation operations. This is a full-time on-site position with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid FAA Airline Transport Pilot license and first class medical.
• Bachelor’s degree in aviation management, business, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of proven experience as a Director of Operations or Chief Pilot.
• U.S. work authorization to work for any employer in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Hold full authority for all Director of Operations duties under FAR Part 119.
• Serve as the main FAA point of contact for audits and certificate matters across Part 135/91 operations.
• Own regulatory compliance for pilot duty/rest and operational control.
• Update the General Operations Manual (GOM) and FAA Operations Specifications to ensure ongoing compliance.
• Oversee safety and training for pilots, flight crew, and flight coordinators.
• Coordinate with maintenance and client services to support operations and business development.
