Job summary

Elevate Jet in Plano, TX seeks a Director of Operations to maximize fleet operations under FAR Part 135/91. You will lead the Chief Pilot and flight crew, coordinate with maintenance, client services, and sales to ensure safe, compliant operations.

The role requires FAA liaison duties, updating manuals and operations specs, and oversight of regulatory compliance across the operation. Travel up to 25% may be involved and you will drive strategic initiatives with HR and leadership.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years as Director of Operations or Chief Pilot in a Part 135 operation.
• Must hold FAA Airline Transport Pilot license.
• Bachelor's degree in aviation management, business, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Hold full authority for all duties under FAR Part 119.
• Serve as main FAA contact for audits and certificate matters across Part 135.
• Own regulatory compliance for operations including pilot duty/rest requirements.
• Update General Operations Manual (GOM) and FAA Operations Specifications.
• Lead pilots, flight crew, and coordinators to ensure safe, compliant operations.
