Job summary

Voya Financial, Inc. is seeking a senior valuation leader within the Investment Pricing & Valuation function. The role focuses on end-to-end valuation of private debt investments, coordinating with investment teams and external providers to ensure governance and regulatory compliance.

The candidate will lead a team, challenge valuation methodologies, and drive continuous improvement across valuation practices, reporting to senior management and clients as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• 8+ years of valuation, valuation advisory, credit analysis, audit, risk management, or related fields.
• Strong knowledge of ASC 820 Fair Value Measurement, SEC Rule 2a-5 and valuation practices for illiquid credit investments.
• Experience applying DCF, comps, and precedent transaction analyses.
• Ability to review, understand, and challenge complex valuation models and methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead valuation oversight for private debt, commercial mortgage loans, infrastructure debt, and related assets.
• Review and challenge valuation methodologies, inputs and conclusions.
• Provide governance and documentation for valuation conclusions and challenges.
• Engage with external valuation providers and clients, providing effective challenge when needed.
• Develop and mentor valuation professionals and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
