Job summary

Anthropic Limited in San Francisco seeks an engineering leader to run BizTech, overseeing Platforms and Forward Deployed tracks. You will partner with Legal, Security, Product Ops and GTM to align roadmaps and scale internal systems leveraging Claude.

Lead with technical judgment to drive reliability, adoption, and responsible deployment across a frontier AI lab. You will report to the Head of Business Technology and IT, shaping the internal function with BizTech engineers and Product Managers,

Qualifications

• 12+ years in software engineering and 6+ years leading engineers
• including at least 3 years managing managers and 20+ person orgs
• Experience running internal-tools, business-systems or platform engineering
• Ability to align stakeholders across Legal, Workplace, Comms, Product Ops and Product Support

Responsibilities

• Lead and scale a global org of engineers; hire, level and develop leads
• Partner, develop, and execute a year-plus roadmap for how business functions work with Claude
• Run the Platforms track: reliability, velocity and scale of Claude Support and the platform layer
• Run the Forward Deployed track: engagement portfolio, prioritization across functions, durable ownership
• Be the technical executive partner to leaders of Legal, Workplace, Comms, Product Ops and Product Support
• Partner with Labs and Product on dogfooding and internal builds that become external patterns
• Represent how Anthropic runs internally to Enterprise customers alongside GTM
• Set the engineering bar: production-adjacent builds, eval rigor, reusable patterns, data and permissions
