Job summary

Wise Platform in New York City is seeking a visionary Head of Business Operations to lead regional partner operations and drive scalable, automated workflows. You will own cross-functional KPIs, manage an established Partner Operations team, and shape operating models for enterprise partners across North America.

You will balance strategic regional priorities with hands-on execution, collaborating with Product, Compliance, and Sales to turn often complex workflows into reliable, green-operating

Qualifications

• 8+ years of fintech and payments operational leadership.
• Proven SLA and KPI turnaround experience from red to green.
• Matrix leadership across regulated domains without direct authority.
• Data literacy with dashboards and ROI modeling for product investment.

Responsibilities

• Regional operational governance and turnaround across North America.
• Matrix leadership over non-direct reporting domains to align roadmaps.
• Build ROI cases comparing operational capacity vs engineering hours to justify automation.
• Directly lead and scale the Partner Operations team (4–5 managers).
• Partner with regional Commercial/Delivery teams to scale for new enterprise clients.
• Serve as the senior escalation point for Tier 1 bank partners with post-mortems.
