Job summary

Genesis Health Clubs in Fort Collins, CO is seeking a Personal Training Department Manager to oversee all aspects of the PT program at a designated location. You will recruit, hire, schedule, and train personal trainers while driving profitability and member satisfaction.

Lead a team of trainers, ensure high quality service, and coordinate with the Club Manager to meet operational goals and maintain club standards.

Qualifications

• Must hold a national recognized personal training certification and CPR certification.
• Ability to recruit, hire, schedule and train personal trainers.
• Strong leadership and team-building capabilities.
• Focus on profitability and customer satisfaction within the PT program.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the initial and continued training and education of all personal training staff.
• Maintain flexible scheduling to meet the needs of the members and the club.
• Track and record all new member fitness consultations and personal training sessions for reporting.
• Regularly meet with Club Manager to maintain club requirements and operations.
• Complete profitability/goal reports on a weekly and monthly basis.
• Ensure all required documentation is completed in a timely manner.
• Inspect personal trainers for proper new member follow-up.
• Maintain equipment and update online tracking system for repairs.
• Respond quickly and appropriately to emergency situations.
• Perform all duties as necessary for personal trainers and other duties as assigned.
• Comply with the Genesis Health Club Staff Policy Handbook.
