Job summary

Genesis Health Clubs in Lexington, KY is seeking a dedicated leader to oversee the Personal Training department at a designated location. You will recruit, hire, schedule and train personal trainers while ensuring member satisfaction and profitability of the program.

Responsibilities include training staff, maintaining flexible scheduling, tracking consultations and sessions, meeting with the Club Manager, and preparing weekly and monthly profitability reports.

Qualifications

• Must hold a national recognized personal training certification and CPR certification.
• Ability to work well with others.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the Personal Training department for a designated Genesis location.
• Recruit, hire, schedule and train new personal trainers.
• Ensure profitability of the personal training program by overseeing and following up with new members and department goals.
• Regularly meet with Club Manager to maintain club requirements and club operations.
• Complete profitability/goal reports on a weekly and monthly basis.
• Ensure timely completion of daily reports and checklists.
• Maintain equipment and update tracking systems to ensure prompt repairs.
• Respond quickly and appropriately to emergency situations.
• Develop a team atmosphere and motivate staff to perform at their best.
• Available to work weekends, evenings and holidays.
