Blacksmith Agency is seeking a Digital Marketing Director to lead the PPC and SEO function for diverse clients. You will own channel strategy, set quality standards, and be the client-facing owner when accounts underperform.

You’ll mentor the PPC and SEO strategists, align budgets with growth, and shape reporting to ensure honesty and insight. This is a remote, leadership role with a focus on accountability.

Competenze

• 7+ years across paid media and SEO.
• Owning one channel while sitting beside the other does not count here.
• Deep knowledge of Google Ads, GA4, Search Console, Meta and Microsoft Ads.
• One turnaround success story you can discuss, with metrics and outcomes.

• Own the PPC and SEO strategists: quality bar, development, reviews, and go/no-go decisions.
• Define standard of work, audits, and reporting; write and enforce them.
• Drive client results across the function and ensure reporting honesty.
• Own escalation when an account is at risk and lead fixes with the strategist.
• Own channel strategy and budget allocation as accounts scale.
• Convey credible delivery promises to sales before they are sold.
• Lead hiring plan for the department and conduct first-round interviews within ~quarter.
