The role blends hands-on coding with strategic leadership, emphasizing scalable systems, visualization tools, and robust production practices across distributed GPU clusters.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of software engineering experience with 3+ years in leadership or mentorship.
- 2+ years of experience with distributed ML training across GPU clusters.
- BS or MS in Computer Science or related field.
- Hands-on production-level coding in a shared codebase.
- Proficiency in Python and data processing libraries like NumPy/Pandas.
Responsibilities
- Build, lead, and manage a high-performing team for data, training, and evaluation pipelines.
- Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and career development to team members.
- Define team goals, priorities, and roadmap aligned with company objectives.
- Collaborate with ML engineers to troubleshoot and optimize ML workflows end-to-end.
- Lead design and code reviews to uphold quality standards.
- Foster cross-functional collaboration across the organization.
