Job summary

Elliptic seeks a Head of People, US to lead the People function across the US, based in New York. You will partner with US leadership to shape and deliver the people strategy in a fast-growing tech environment.

As a senior HR leader, you will own the US People agenda, drive talent development, engagement, culture, and change, and embed scalable processes across the region, including compensation cycles and hybrid working models.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in a senior strategic HR leadership role.
• Experience managing and developing a team.
• Business-savvy with ability to influence senior leaders.
• Credible with senior leaders; strong coaching skills.
• Outcome-focused with ability to simplify and scale processes.
• Knowledge of US employment law and multi-state compliance.
• Tech and AI-fluent; able to use HRIS, surveys, AI tools for insights.
• Comfortable operating in ambiguity and solving complex people challenges.

Responsibilities

• Act as trusted People partner to US senior leadership, shaping people strategy.
• Own and execute the US People strategy aligned with global leadership.
• Use data to guide workforce planning and organizational design in the US.
• Embed company-wide initiatives (performance, compensation, hybrid work) across US.
• Escalation point for complex employee relations in the US.
• Lead, develop and mentor US People Partners.
• Advise on culture and ways of working aligned with values.
• Own accountability for US People function, budget and headcount.
