Job summary

Meriton is seeking a Director of People Strategy and Experience to align HR with business goals in a Chicago-based role. You will lead compensation design, employee engagement, and policy execution, influencing organizational culture and performance across operating companies.

You will leverage data analytics and COE partnerships to drive transformational change, build leadership capability, and deliver sustainable growth. This is a strategic, high-impact HR leadership position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Experience.
• 6–10 years of progressive HR experience with strategic impact.
• Leadership or managerial experience within HR.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver compensation structures and benefit programs; provide market and legal insights.
• Guide employee engagement and experience; develop engagement plans with presidents.
• Identify actions to implement strategy; align with mission and values; develop team skills.
• Design analyses to support strategic workforce planning; partner between operating companies and COE.
• Oversee policy execution; monitor implementation and ensure compliance.
• Investigate complex employee relations cases; manage risk and provide resolutions.
• Oversee preboarding and offboarding; ensure a positive onboarding experience.
• Collaborate with payroll and governance teams to resolve issues.
