Job summary

Town.com, Inc. in San Francisco is seeking a People Operations lead to own onboarding, payroll, benefits, equity operations, immigration, compliance, and the HRIS end-to-end, shaping the function for a 100-person team.

You’ll build processes with the Head of Talent and collaborate closely with Finance and the founders. The role emphasizes automating workflows, working with agents and engineers to streamline human work, and ensuring discreet handling of confidential information as the company

Qualifications

• Experience in People Ops or HR at a high-growth startup.
• Experience with an HRIS and configuring it.
• Excellent organizational skills and automation mindset.

Responsibilities

• Own onboarding end-to-end from offer to 90-day ramp.
• Run Rippling as system of record: payroll, benefits enrollment, data hygiene, audits.
• Own HR compliance: policy, registrations, leave, 401(k) and Form 5500 reporting.
• Manage immigration end-to-end with outside counsel (H-1B, E-3, green cards).
• Be the first stop for benefits, pay, leave and policy questions, with discretion.
• Automate repetitive work using Town’s tools and beta products.
