Job summary

Confidential Careers is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to own the HR function in Florida. This hands-on leadership role is the primary HR authority, partnering with senior leadership to build the people infrastructure in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment.

You will lead onboarding, offboarding, performance management, employee relations, and policies, while driving full-cycle recruiting and the annual performance cycle.

Qualifications

• 6–12 years of HR/people ops experience, including ownership of an HR function in a lean, fast-moving org.
• 3+ years owning an HR function in a lean, fast-moving organization.
• Full-cycle recruiting experience and strong employee relations skills, including difficult conversations and terminations.
• Ability to build HR structure from scratch with strong judgment and clear, process-minded communication.

Responsibilities

• Own people operations day-to-day — onboarding, offboarding, performance management, employee relations, policies.
• Lead full-cycle recruiting across all departments, from sourcing through offer with structured hiring methods.
• Run the performance review cycle and surface engagement/retention patterns to leadership.
• Use AI tools to drive efficiency across HR workflows.
