Job summary

Divert, a Massachusetts-based cleantech company, is seeking a strategic Head of People to guide teams through rapid growth. You will shape people infrastructure across the entire talent lifecycle, from hiring to development and retention, with a focus on culture and equitable processes.

This role is not a traditional HR position and we welcome candidates from non-HR backgrounds. Local to Massachusetts or willing to relocate will be considered as we scale our impact on sustainability and food

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited program (Business/People).
• 8–12 years of experience in people/comms/leadership.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive Divert’s people and culture practices at scale.
• Act as visionary and enabler for talent lifecycle: attract, onboard, develop, retain.
• Build and deliver pay and benefits programs that support employees and families.
• Maintain an engaging culture while growing the business.
• Collaborate with leadership to align people strategy with company goals.
