Payra is seeking a Head of Payments to lead Payra Payments, build a robust ISO and partner network, and oversee the rails that power our payment platform. You will recruit, close, and grow partners who drive merchant volume and own the relationships with processors and sponsor banks.

You will report to the CEO and collaborate with Sales, Partnerships, Underwriting, and Finance. This builder role involves setting the playbook and hiring the team as volume expands, with remote or in-person work

Qualificações

• 7+ years in payments at an ISO/payfac/processor/fintech.
• Proven track record recruiting, signing, and growing payment partners.
• Working knowledge of sponsor banks, processors, payfac and TPS models, card brand and Nacha rules.
• Experience negotiating pricing and commitments with processors or banks.
• You build pricing and margin math yourself and have an existing network of ISOs/partners.
• Builder mindset: you set up a channel or program, not just inherited one.

Responsabilidades

• Build Payra's ISO and payment partner channel: target list, outreach, terms, onboarding, and ramp.
• Design residual and buy rate structures that grow the channel without eroding margin.
• Own ISO and payment partner relationships after signing, including performance reviews and expansion.
• Join Sales on larger deals as the payments expert, pricing, surcharging, and ACH for CFOs and controllers.
• Own and optimize payments pricing strategy across card and ACH.
• Manage processor and sponsor bank relationships, including pricing, volume commitments, audits, and renegotiations.
• Evaluate new processors and sponsor banks as volume and product needs grow.
• Report on volume, effective rate, and margin by segment and by channel.
