Payra is seeking a Finance Lead to play a key leadership role in shaping the company's financial strategy and supporting its continued growth.

This individual will work directly with the CEO and executive leadership team, taking ownership of financial modeling, strategic planning, banking relationships, capital strategy, and platform financial performance.

We're looking for someone with exceptional analytical capabilities, strong commercial instincts, and the ability to translate complex financial information into meaningful business decisions.

The ideal candidate brings experience from a high-growth fintech company, private equity or growth equity firm, investment bank, or a similarly sophisticated financial environment. Experience within the payments or financial technology ecosystem is strongly preferred.

This is a hands-on, highly visible role offering significant ownership, direct executive exposure, and the opportunity to help shape the financial future of a rapidly scaling company.

Strategic Finance & Financial Planning

• Own and develop Payra's financial models, forecasting processes, and long-term financial planning.
• Lead financial analysis supporting company-wide strategic initiatives and growth opportunities.
• Partner with executive leadership on budgeting, capital allocation, and business performance.
• Develop financial reporting and analytical tools to support data-driven decision-making.
• Evaluate business performance and identify opportunities for financial and operational improvement.

Banking & Capital Strategy

• Manage and strengthen relationships with banking partners and financial institutions.
• Support corporate financing activities, capital planning, and strategic financial initiatives.
• Evaluate financial structures and opportunities that support sustainable, long-term growth.
• Collaborate with executive leadership and external financial partners on major financial decisions.

Platform Finance & Business Economics

• Lead financial analysis across Payra's payments and software platform.
• Evaluate unit economics, financial performance, pricing strategies, and business profitability.
• Develop financial frameworks to assess commercial opportunities, partnerships, and new initiatives.
• Work cross-functionally with product, sales, operations, and leadership to support business objectives.
• Help establish scalable financial processes and reporting capabilities as the company grows.

Corporate Strategy & Executive Reporting

• Serve as a trusted financial and strategic partner to the CEO and executive team.
• Support strategic planning, business development, and evaluation of growth opportunities.
• Prepare financial reporting, presentations, and analysis for executive leadership, board members, and investors.
• Provide actionable insights and recommendations to support key company decisions.

QualificationsRequired

• 5+ years of relevant experience in strategic finance, investment banking, private equity, growth equity, corporate development, or a related financial leadership role.
• Exceptional financial modeling, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong understanding of financial statements, forecasting, capital structures, and business economics.
• Experience independently managing complex financial projects and strategic initiatives.
• Strong commercial judgment with the ability to evaluate financial decisions beyond traditional reporting.

• Investment banking experience covering financial technology, payments, or financial services.
• Experience within a venture-backed or private equity-backed technology company.
• Familiarity with SaaS business models, transaction-based revenue, and platform economics.
• Experience working with banking institutions, financial partners, or institutional investors.
• Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and financial analysis tools.
