Job summary

PayKings Merchant Payments Acceptance Corp. in Utah seeks a senior operations leader to guide day-to-day navigation from merchant onboarding to live accounts. You will build scalable processes, coach teams, and align operations with risk controls and card brand rules.

The role partners with sales and bank/processor partners to ensure smooth underwriting, boarding, and post-boarding support, while driving metrics and reporting to leadership.

Qualifications

• Senior operations leadership experience in payments, merchant services, or fintech.
• Experience with merchant underwriting, boarding, and acquiring bank relationships.
• Track record building teams and the processes they run on.
• Comfort with metrics, reporting, and making decisions from data.
• Clear communication with executives, bank partners, and merchants alike.

Responsibilities

• Lead the operations, boarding, and support teams, including hiring, coaching, and performance.
• Own the merchant lifecycle from application through underwriting, boarding, and post-boarding support.
• Coordinate with acquiring bank and processor partners on underwriting, approvals, and escalations.
• Oversee risk and chargeback monitoring processes across the merchant portfolio.
• Set operational metrics and report on them to leadership.
• Build and document processes that scale as merchant volume grows.
• Maintain compliance with card brand rules and PCI-DSS requirements in operational workflows.
• Partner with sales so new merchants are placed and boarded without friction.
