Phoenix Ecommerce Technologies is seeking a Senior Payments Risk Manager to own and scale risk across our live merchants. This hands-on, post-underwriting role focuses on monitoring activity, identifying emerging risks, investigating patterns, and delivering clear findings to Payments leadership.

You’ll work with cross-functional teams to balance merchant impact with financial risk, and drive process improvements in monitoring, alerts, and dashboards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in payments risk or related fields.
• Experience monitoring live merchant portfolios.
• Strong investigative skills to identify root causes.
• Experience analyzing transaction data, processing trends, and fraud indicators.
• Ability to operate with ambiguity and adapt quickly.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Live merchant & portfolio monitoring to identify risks and indicators.
• Own investigations from initial signal through resolution with data-driven findings.
• Recommend risk actions and escalation as needed to Payments leadership.
• Collaborate with Payments, Underwriting, Product, Engineering, and Operations.
• Develop monitoring rules, alerts, dashboards, and improved investigation workflows.
