Job summary

The City of Hollywood, Florida is seeking a seasoned Parking and Code Compliance Manager to oversee planning, budgeting, and staff in the Parking and Code Compliance Office.

Under the Assistant City Manager, you will develop enforcement strategies, supervise personnel, prepare reports, and represent the city at meetings. This role requires a Bachelor’s in public or business administration and significant supervisory municipal experience; a Master’s is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in public or business administration; five years supervisory municipal experience.
• Master’s degree preferred with seven years supervisory experience in municipal administration.

Responsibilities

• Manage Parking and Code Compliance Office operations, including parking, enforcement, and codes.
• Supervise staff; review work and prepare data for reports and studies.
• Develop action plans to improve enforcement across parking, housing, and code areas.
• Liaise with other departments and outside agencies; attend meetings and educate citizens.
• Oversee annual budget development; forecast staffing and equipment needs; monitor expenditures.
