The position involves working 32 hours weekly in shifts that span 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM or 2:00 PM to 2:00 AM, with exact hours after training.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; plus two years of public contact experience.
• Certification as Parking Enforcement Specialist mandatory at time of application; attach certification.

Responsibilities

• Patrols assigned areas to inspect for adherence to motor vehicle parking regulations.
• Writes citations and affixes to vehicles; explains citation procedures.
• Explains parking regulations to the public and provides directions to parking facilities.
• Reports damage to parking meters and signage.
• Completes incident reports for incidents in assigned areas.
• Operates devices for issuance of citations and provides daily reports to supervisor.
