Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is seeking a Director of Paid Media to lead the PPC and SEO functions for clients across multifamily, B2B and technical verticals. You will own channel strategy, budget allocation, and the performance of the department, while the PPC and SEO strategists execute on campaigns and audits.

This is a management role with client-facing responsibilities. You will hire the team, set standards for audits and reporting, and ensure honest attribution and GA4 accuracy.

Qualifications

• 7+ years across paid media and SEO. Owning one channel while beside the other does not count here.
• Comfortable being the client-facing owner when an account is underperforming.
• Agency experience carrying many accounts at once.

Responsibilities

• Own channel strategy and budget allocation as accounts scale.
• Lead the PPC strategist and SEO strategist and set quality standards.
• Ensure reporting integrity and GA4 accuracy across clients.
• Drive client results and be the escalation point when needed.
• Contribute to hiring plans and conduct first-round interviews.
