Job summary

Beacon Mobility in Bridgeport, CT seeks a Vice President of Operations to lead day-to-day performance and execute the company’s strategic plan. You will direct multiple business units through a network of operational leaders to drive safety and metrics.

You will roll out programs, host meetings, and foster cross‑department collaboration while supporting talent retention within the operations team. Knowledge of the transportation industry is essential.

Qualifications

• Ten years of progressive management experience.
• Five years of supervisory experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Business Administration or equivalent.
• Advanced degree (MBA, MA, MS) preferred.
• Knowledge of transportation industry.

Responsibilities

• Direct and control operational requirements on behalf of the company.
• Manage day-to-day operations by business unit through a network of other operational leaders.
• Provide operational strategy and oversight based on the company’s strategic plan.
• Roll out new programs, promote operational safety, and ensure operational metrics are met.
• Host meetings, seminars, and conferences.
• Promote communication of company initiatives throughout the operations management team for dissemination.
• Help coordinate retention strategies within the operations team and collaborate with other departments and department heads to execute strategy.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
