About the Role:

The Vice President of Operations for the Northeast region will lead and oversee all operational activities within this critical geographic area, ensuring efficiency, safety, and profitability across transportation and warehousing functions. This executive role demands strategic leadership to drive continuous improvement initiatives, optimize supply chain processes, and align operational goals with the broader corporate vision. The VP will be responsible for managing large teams, fostering collaboration across departments, and maintaining strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders. They will also play a pivotal role in budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation to meet regional performance targets. Ultimately, this position is essential for sustaining competitive advantage and delivering exceptional service in a dynamic and fast-paced industry environment.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership experience in transportation, warehousing, or logistics operations.
• Proven track record of managing large teams and complex operations within the transportation and warehousing industry.
• Strong knowledge of industry regulations, safety standards, and compliance requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic operational plans that drive business growth.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) or related discipline.
• Experience working in or managing operations within the Northeast United States region.
• Familiarity with advanced logistics software, warehouse management systems (WMS), and transportation management systems (TMS).
• Lean Six Sigma or other process improvement certification.
• Experience in managing multimodal transportation networks and large-scale distribution centers.

• Lead, mentor, and manage regional operations teams, including warehouse managers, logistics coordinators, and transportation supervisors.
