Job summary

AMETEK, Inc. in Irvine, CA seeks a Director of Operations to lead the FMH Operations & Supply Chain teams. You will plan and direct production at a strategic level, drive continuous improvement, and manage daily activities to meet safety, quality and delivery targets.

The role requires 8–10 years of experience, a technical or business degree, and strong leadership with proven Lean/Six Sigma implementation. Competitive compensation and strong benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Proven hands-on operations management experience in manufacturing.
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field required.
• Lean/Six Sigma experience with cost control and capacity planning.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct FMH Operations & Supply Chain teams.
• Plan and coordinate production at a strategic level.
• Drive continuous improvement and lean initiatives across the facility.
• Manage daily operational activities and budgeting.
• Monitor metrics and deliver on safety, quality, and delivery targets.
