AMETEK, Inc. is seeking a Director of Operations to lead the FMH Operations & Supply Chain Teams from a strategic position.

You will plan and execute production, drive continuous improvement, and manage budgets while ensuring quality, on-time delivery and cost control. The role requires a strong track record in hands-on operations leadership within low-volume, high-mix manufacturing, and deep experience with lean methodologies.

Formación

• Bachelor’s Degree required in Engineering/technical or business field
• 8–10 years of related experience in operations management
• Experience in low-volume, high-mix manufacturing (engineered products)
• Lean operations expertise and proven leadership in implementing world-class lean practices
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with customer-facing experience

Responsabilidades

• Lead and guide FMH Operations & Supply Chain Teams at a strategic level
• Plan, direct and coordinate production to meet customer quality and turnaround times
• Develop and implement lean roadmap to achieve world-class lean adoption
• Control quality, cost, timeliness and applicability of materials
• Manage expenses and budgets to meet financial targets
• Drive capacity growth and on-time delivery while reducing costs
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives with metrics and tools
• Develop talent through hiring, staffing and cross-training
• Present performance reports to customers and stakeholders
• Identify AI use cases to improve productivity and decision-making
