Job summary

Qualifications

• Hands-on operations management leadership with 8–10 years of related experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or technical/business field is required.
• Production/manufacturing management in low volume / high mix engineered products, preferably metal forming aerospace.
• Strong analytical thinking and communication skills (written and oral).
• Experience implementing world-class lean operations and leading lean initiatives.
• Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Team player with strong interpersonal skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Experience with continuous improvement practices: TPM, Six Sigma, SIOP, LDMS, DFM.
• Strong customer relations skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the organization is structured with talent and resources to meet quality and turnaround targets.
• Establish strategies, budgets, and capital/material/labor requirements to support customer needs.
• Create and implement a lean roadmap for world-class adoption.
• Maintain and control quality, quantity, cost, timeliness of all materials.
• Manage expenses within approved budgets.
• Meet or exceed sales, profit, turnaround time and safety objectives.
• Contribute to TMS strategy and pricing decisions through data analysis.
• Ensure customer requirements are met, optimize product value, and ensure on-time delivery.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives with metrics and tools to improve efficiency.
