Job summary

HRCSB is seeking a Director of Operations to lead the agency's administrative departments, including HR, Compliance, IT, and Data Management, in Harrisonburg, VA. The role is responsible for project leadership, policy implementation, and regulatory adherence, reporting to the Executive Director and CFO.

The successful candidate will supervise multiple managers, ensure timely reporting, and coordinate with board and state agencies to maintain compliance and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Public behavioral health knowledge and admin/HR management.
• Strong fiscal management and regulatory compliance knowledge.
• Planning and organizational development skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and communicate effectively.
• Capability to supervise and develop staff.

Responsibilities

• Oversee admin ops across HR, compliance, IT, clerical, medical records, data management.
• Develop and maintain policies and procedures for admin ops.
• Provide project management leadership for agency projects.
• Coordinate processes to meet the State Performance Contract requirements.
• Oversee risk management and reporting incl HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2.
• Supervise data management activities and outcome reporting.
• Oversee ERP Administration and IT support coordination.
• Collaborate with Exec Director and CFO on financial planning.
• Lead hiring and staff orientation; ensure regulatory compliance.
