Job summary

See’s Candies seeks a Director of Industrial Performance to lead TPM and IE across a five-site food manufacturing network. This role will drive productivity, labor optimization, and loss elimination through standardized methods and data-driven decision making.

The senior leader will partner with Plant Directors and Finance to optimize layouts, capacity, and governance, while coaching leaders and building a culture of continuous improvement across See’s Candies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Operations Management, or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in FMCG or food manufacturing; 5+ years in a leadership role.
• Proven experience implementing and maturing TPM in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong background in Industrial Engineering, including labor standards, layout optimization, and process engineering.
• Demonstrated success improving OEE, reducing waste, and driving operational performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead TPM program leadership across multiple sites with governance and KPI alignment.
• Lead the IE team responsible for productivity, capacity analysis, labor standards, and network optimization.
• Oversee development of labor models, line balance standards, and engineered labor standards; support standard costing with Finance.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, cross-functional collaboration, and people development across sites.
