Job summary

Jazz Pharmaceuticals, Inc. seeks a senior leader to guide the Oncology Pharmacology team from discovery through regulatory approval.

You will lead a multidisciplinary group, shape preclinical strategy, and drive biomarker discovery, PK/PD, and translational plans across solid tumors and hematologic malignancies. You will mentor scientists, collaborate with CROs and internal teams, author nonclinical sections for IND/NDA submissions, and represent the program in governance forums.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in biology, biochemistry, immunology, pharmacology, or a related discipline with experience leading early oncology programs.
• Experience in Immuno-Oncology with in vivo/in vitro models.
• Proven ability to lead multiple complex pharmacology programs and collaborate with CROs.
• Strong project management, data analysis, and communication skills.
• Experience authoring nonclinical sections of IND/NDA submissions.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute experiments to elucidate efficacy, tolerability, mechanism of action, and biomarkers in oncology models.
• Collaborate with CROs and academic labs; manage timelines and budgets.
• Lead pharmacology programs across multiple oncology assets.
• Mentor scientists and present results to governance bodies.
• Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Review protocols, technical reports, and regulatory submissions.
