Job summary

AstraZeneca is seeking a scientifically exceptional Senior Director to lead Oncology Clinical Intelligence and RWE Strategy for Lung and HNSCC. This role shapes evidence generation, trial design, and biomarker strategy, aligning scientific insights with portfolio priorities to drive patient impact.

You will oversee a multidisciplinary team, integrate multimodal data, and coordinate with Clinical Development, Regulatory, and Medical Affairs to ensure decision-ready evidence across the asset

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in epidemiology, biostatistics, clinical science, or oncology.
• Significant experience delivering clinical intelligence or RWE strategies.
• Ability to translate complex evidence into actionable recommendations.
• Proven leadership across multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong understanding of trial design, endpoints, and regulatory needs.

Responsibilities

• Own the evidence strategy for major clinical development decisions across lung and HNSCC.
• Shape prospective evidence plans, biomarkers, and enrichment strategies.
• Guide regulatory and external decision-making with robust evidence packages.
• Lead multimodal data integration, AI-enabled workflows, and vendor coordination.
• Communicate complex evidence clearly to diverse internal and external audiences.
