Job summary

QB Energy is seeking a Director of Shared Services to build and lead internal oilfield service capabilities, including a company-operated P&A rig and swab/slickline trucks. You will own safety, procurement, staffing, and cost control, guiding capital investments and performance improvements across drilling, completions, and production support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Engineering, Business, or related discipline preferred.
• Minimum of 15 years of oilfield service experience with progressively increasing responsibility.
• Extensive knowledge of oilfield service-company management, with emphasis on completions & workover.
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, cost accounting, capital allocation, and internal service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Stand up and lead a company-operated P&A rig service with fit-for-purpose equipment and processes.
• Lead operational management of hydraulic fracturing fleets, completion equipment, and related crews.
• Manage swab and slickline trucks, staffing, maintenance, and service quality.
• Develop annual budgets, capital plans, forecasts, and unit-cost metrics to reduce costs.
• Establish safety expectations, procedures, training, and field assurance programs.
