Job summary

bp energy, the US onshore arm of bp, seeks a Head of Procurement and Supply Chain Management based in Denver. You will own end-to-end P2P, category strategy across drilling, completions, and midstream, and lead supplier relationships to ensure safe, on-time operations at cost-competitive levels.

This leadership role emphasizes commercial excellence, governance, and data-driven decision making, with a broad mandate to transform processes and technology within the PSCM function.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in procurement, supply chain, or commercial roles with 10+ years in leadership.
• US onshore oil and gas experience across drilling, completions, facilities, lease operating, midstream infra, indirect spend.
• Deep contracting experience negotiating and administering master agreements.

Responsibilities

• Set multi-year category strategies for drilling, completions, facilities, LOE, midstream infra, and indirect spend.
• Negotiate and manage master agreements and lead high-value commercial negotiations.
• Own the P2P process end-to-end and ensure internal controls and cycle-time improvements.
• Own inventory strategy and forecasting for wellsite facilities and operations.
• Run supplier management, risk, and HSE programs across the supply base.
• Identify and deliver technology solutions to streamline procurement and finance processes.
• Lead and develop the PSCM organization and build stakeholder relationships.
