Job summary

TerraPower in Kemmerer, WY is seeking an Operations Procedure Supervisor to lead the development and maintenance of O&M procedures for a new nuclear power plant. The role oversees writers, program developers, and cross-department coordination while ensuring compliance with NRC requirements and INPO criteria.

The successful candidate will supervise a team, drive process improvements, and manage software tools for procedure administration. Location is Kemmerer, with remote work through early 2026.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or 10 years of Nuclear Power Experience
• 2+ years of leadership experience at a commercial nuclear power plant
• 4 years of commercial nuclear power plant experience in operations
• 4 years of experience in procedure writing
• RO or SRO license a plus (not mandatory)
• Experience supervising diverse groups on complex problems
• Knowledge of NRC regulations, INPO criteria, and plant procedures

Responsibilities

• Supervise development of O&M procedures for a new nuclear power plant
• Maintain writing/revision standards for NDP procedures
• Develop and implement software tools to manage site operations
• Oversee training and mentoring on procedures and standards
• Coordinate with regulators, project partners, and vendors
• Ensure auditable records and adherence to design changes and regulatory requirements
• Participate in audits and respond to findings
• Lead process improvements for plant operating procedures
