Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a Senior Non-Human Identity and Cloud IAM Platform Lead to define and mature governance for machine identities, AI agents, and cloud IAM across on-prem and cloud environments.

You will own the NHI registry, drive integration with AWS, Azure, and GCP, and partner with AI, Cloud, and Security teams to deliver a future-ready IAM program with strong, measurable outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with 8+ years of experience or PhD with 3+ years of experience
• Hands-on experience with non-human identity management, cloud IAM, or machine identity governance in large enterprise environments
• Strong hands-on expertise with cloud IAM frameworks and integration with central IGA platforms
• Experience designing cloud IGA processes and least-privilege enforcement across cloud environments
• Proven governance, program management, and cross-functional leadership skills
• Excellent communication and executive presentation abilities

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the enterprise NHI strategy and establish a centralized governance program for machine identities
• Build and maintain an NHI registry covering service accounts, APIs, bots, and AI agents
• Own identity governance posture for AI agents and ensure integration with IAM
• Onboard new AI agents and workloads into the NHI framework with partner teams
• Serve as IAM point of accountability for agent-related identities and credentials
• Establish observability by integrating IAM with external systems (AWS, Azure, GCP, agentic platforms)
• Design modern NHI credential security controls including just-in-time access and short-lived credentials
• Assess tooling landscape and build a pragmatic modernization roadmap
• Drive Cloud IAM/IGA strategy and ensure governance across cloud environments
• Develop KPIs and progress reports for the NHI and Cloud IAM program
• Ensure regulatory compliance for machine identities and cloud access controls
• Manage budget, resources, and vendor relationships for NHI and Cloud IAM
• Lead and mentor a team of technical specialists
