Remix is Via's premier transit planning and scheduling platform, trusted by transit agencies worldwide to design networks, model scenarios, and optimize service. We're looking for a Director of Product to define and drive the next era of Remix: a multimodal planning and scheduling system that gives transit agencies a single, authoritative place to make smarter decisions across every service type they operate.

This is a high-impact, high-ownership role.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in product management of enterprise software.
• Experience shipping workflow-heavy enterprise products.
• Systems thinker with both strategic vision and operational detail.
• Strong empathy for professionals who use the product daily (planners, schedulers, dispatchers).
• Ability to learn underlying data models powering scheduling systems.
• Experience in transportation or logistics is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the product vision and roadmap for Remix as the global standard for multimodal transit planning and scheduling.
• Build data-driven scheduling framework to optimize driver and vehicle time.
• Incorporate labor union rules and workforce regulations into scalable product decisions.
• Bridge planning and scheduling with live operations to improve accuracy and reliability.
• Collaborate with engineering, design, data science, and GTM to ship with measurable outcomes.
• Engage transit planners and operators to surface needs and validate direction.
• Stay current on industry trends, regulations, and competitive dynamics.
