Job summary

High Country: Private Equity Search is seeking a Vice President to lead the growth of its multifamily investment platform. You will oversee acquisitions, asset management, financing, and portfolio strategy, working closely with senior leadership to drive investments from initial evaluation through execution and disposition.

The role demands hands-on ownership, independent thinking, and the ability to operate like an owner across all deal stages.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Accounting, or Economics.
• 6–12 years of real estate investment experience, with multifamily acquisitions or asset management.
• Experience evaluating and executing investments through multiple stages of the lifecycle.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, DCF analysis, investment underwriting, and complex real estate financial modeling.
• Ability to independently evaluate opportunities, identify risks, and present an investment thesis to senior leadership.
• Experience mentoring or managing junior investment professionals is preferred.
• Willingness to travel less than 25% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Lead underwriting, due diligence, and evaluation of prospective multifamily acquisitions.
• Own and review complex financial models across acquisition, financing, operating, and disposition assumptions.
• Drive acquisitions through the full lifecycle from evaluation to closing, and transition into asset management.
• Partner with senior leadership on investment strategy and portfolio decisions.
• Oversee performance of existing investments against budgets and objectives.
• Collaborate with property management to develop asset-level business plans.
• Identify opportunities to improve property performance and mitigate risk.
• Prepare investment committee materials and provide clear recommendations.
• Support financing, refinancing, recapitalization, and disposition initiatives.
• Contribute to investor reporting and portfolio strategy.
