Job summary

Kennedy Jenks is seeking a transformational leader to shape the future of its technical project delivery. Based in any KJ market nationwide, this senior role leads professionals, strengthens client relationships, and advances technical excellence across infrastructure projects.

The role requires 10+ years in design engineering, leadership experience, a PE license preferred, and a hybrid work model with 25%–50% travel across the country. Salary range is $170,000–$240,000.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering field is required.
• 10+ years of design engineering consulting experience, preferably in water/wastewater.
• 4+ years of leadership experience managing supervisors, team leaders, and project teams.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license strongly preferred.
• Strong business acumen and ability to partner across functions.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary teams across Mechanical, Electrical, Structural, CAD, Architectural and Instrumentation and Controls.
• Support delivery of multidisciplinary projects across Kennedy Jenks.
• Promote efficient design delivery and compliance with standards of care.
• Collaborate across engineering, environmental, scientific and technical disciplines.
• Partner with business managers and project leaders to align resources with needs.
• Travel nationwide 25%–50% to collaborate with clients and offices.
