Job summary

Global Growth Industries is seeking an experienced Director of Maintenance to lead maintenance, facilities, and asset-management operations across its expanding store portfolio. You will drive the maintenance strategy, oversee field teams, and manage budgets and vendor partnerships.

The role requires overseeing preventative maintenance programs, capital projects, and adherence to regulatory standards across a multi-site retail environment, with emphasis on petroleum/fuel systems expertise

Qualifications

• Progressive experience in facilities, maintenance, field service, or asset management.
• Leadership experience overseeing maintenance ops across districts, markets, or states.
• Experience in convenience store, fuel retail, or travel center sectors.
• Proven ability to manage internal teams and external vendors.
• Experience with operating and capital budgets.
• Knowledge of building systems including HVAC/R, electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, and maintenance workflows.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and direction for maintenance and facilities operations across a multi-location retail portfolio.
• Lead, develop, and support field maintenance personnel and vendors.
• Establish maintenance standards, KPIs, and service expectations across markets.
• Develop preventive and predictive maintenance programs to increase uptime and reduce costs.
• Oversee maintenance and capital budgets, approvals, and cost-control opportunities.
• Negotiate vendor pricing and contracts while ensuring service levels.
• Develop vendor-management strategies balancing internal and outsourced capabilities.
• Oversee maintenance and repair programs for building systems including petroleum/fuel equipment.
